What is the WC SPCA?
The Wyoming County SPCA is a not for profit animal rescue organization based out of Attica, New York. Founded in 1905, the WC SPCA has placed thousands of orphaned, abandoned, and abused animals in to permanent, qualified homes.
Where do the animals come from?
Although headquartered in Wyoming County, the WC SPCA frequently rescues animals from other regions of Western New York - Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Genesee, and Cattaraugus Counties.
What is No Kill?
No Kill is a term used to describe a shelter that does not euthanize healthy animals. The WC SPCA has been a No Kill Shelter since 1980. In addition to caring for every healthy animal, the WC SPCA also treats sick animals, providing them with the best medical attention and finding them accommodating homes. Every animal is given the best quality of life possible.
How is the WC SPCA funded?
The WC SPCA is funded exclusively through fundraising and donations.
